  6. Like the video said, the problem is psychological, but there is so many people starving around the world, if this technology someday become acessible for the average family it could save lives, even improve the livestile in africa.

  8. Wait, so if his high hopes are that it will eventually cost the same as regular meat...what's the point? Just buy meat.

  14. another bogus "sollution" to the "food shortage"
there is no food shortage, farmers get fined if they produce too much, but also nobody wants to take on the job of transportation and what costs that brings with it
and what about not using corn for Fuel?? huh?? instead of usuing it for Food, you can use a lot of diffferent oil types like sunflower seed oil for your Diesel engine alone but that isn't taxed heavily... it's all about the money (they don't want to spend on feeding everyone)

  15. ^ dead on. also, please stop trying to send misc. shit (pun wholly intended) to africa. that is as much a part of the problem in certain areas of the continent as the all the things (& people) that were taken out o begin with. that is all.

  16. I love that the fridge is labeled "Shit Burger"

  17. Well according to Star Trek the food replicators take our waste and transform it into food. Now, where's my warp speed and sexy blue alien chicks.

  18. This seems like a bad South Park joke.

  19. wonderful future!
Perhaps we could use this "sewage mud" also for other things like creme, soap or shampoo!

  21. Call me weak or whatever, but I can't eat that. I get sick of toilet humor, I cried when I heard of the human centipede; tldr: I CAN'T HANDLE THIS SHIT. Or just 'shit' for that matter. I'd rather eat other humans than eating that...(I think) Probably, I would be the one being eaten if it ever comes to it, but anything better than eating shit, even if it isn't even shit.
Sorry, you are brilliant, mr. Scientist, but I won't be buying your product.

    ReplyDelete
  28. LOL! and the worse part is he saying that in the future the shit-meat will have the SAME price as the normal meat.
For anyone to eat shit-meat this technique should be at least 10% the price of making true-meat

  29. Well, I dont think I'll be eatting any burgers in Japan

    ReplyDelete
  30. Hello? Has anyone ever taken OFF the bread of the McDonalds burgers??? I wouldn't be so in shock if they bought this "shit" to save some extra bucks, and we wouldn't even notice.

    ReplyDelete
  31. If it requires excessive processing and cost the same as other meat, what's the point?!

  37. My 2 reactions to the video before I paused it, never to look back:

    1) What the f_ck is wrong with Japan. I mean really... who would regularly eat that? And how many people? Like 2.5?

    2) What the f_ck is up with that "scientist's" finger pointer. I mean can't they just used laser beams or just a black stick. For f_ck's sake.

  38. This has proven to be fake. Who would even believe this "shit"?

  44. It was actually all the bacteria that provided the protein rather than the shit itself. Considering bacteria are almost limitless, especially in shit, I suppose you could recycle the stuff indefinitely. Bon Apetite. :)
