  1. This would be considerd cruel to most, but honestly if you think about it,nothing was being wasted from that squid to feed somone. It would be cruel if he did all that and tossed most of it away.

    1. You stupid fucks, the whole point is that he could have killed the squid in a more humane way before cutting it up - who fucking raised you people anyway

  2. What other ways do you slaughter a squid? A stunt gun?

  3. What about smacking and then removing the brain? Seriously, these animals are smart, delicious, and smart.

Every time that I see that, the more I like genetic modified meat (no animal, only modified meat to be grown without all the other stuff in an artificial "body" re-used every time).

Someday we will be able to understand animals and by communicating with them some probably will achieve cultural status (nearly-human).

If a human with deep Down syndrome has rights (and we MUST keep them), why not a probably genius killer whale who can speak with us, and who will not eat us just because we pay him/her and buys his/her own fish?

But again, squids are delicious, please nihonjin-chans, kill'em more gentle ;)

  4. An example of how far humans have become alienated from nature. There's nothing cultural about this. It's just cruel.

    1. I don't understand your logic.. there are millions of animals (like ourselves) that brutally slaughter for their own meals. Some animals play or torture their food for amusement; If anything, that's true nature. You should be happy that the man used the whole squid and did not waste the meat. Stop being a baby and realize that their is not much of a difference if a bear digs threw my belly when I'm alive or if I'm digging threw his while hes alive.

    2. If racism is a cultural phenomenon, then how can this not be related to culture? And further more, the only thing this alienates us from is squid.

    3. animals has more mercy in their hunting it kills it's prey before it digs threw their belly as you described it .

and having mercy has nothing to do with being a child or an adult .

    5. I made the November 12 comment. Just to clear things up lions, hyenas, crocodiles, birds, snakes, fish, frogs, and bugs are some of the many animals that eat their prey while it is still alive. Also I never said that this was or was not cultural. All I said is that the man killed an animal to provide food. He also used all the meat which is rare and awesome. By the way, the squid died and that is its nerves doing all the moving. I would 100% agree with you if this was a video about mass production of meat products in America because the animals are raised in horrible conditions. That squid was most likely from the ocean and not farmed for food (he had a good life). To make my point, all I'm saying is that by you saying were alienated from nature is false. We are no more or less a monster than any other creature on this planet. We as humans are the few who have the mental ability to base our morals on others.

    6. Yeah, sure, animals torture each other, they also lack a little thing called empathy which humans possess. I suggest you try using it, assholes

  5. some ppl here never saw how chicken gets killed in the western hemisphere.. guess what they also run around without their heads and keep on moving... nothing special.. just to those guys that are RLY far away from nature and just ate fabric meat all their life. funny how most ppl that say back to nature wouldn't be able to survive in its crueltys

  6. Would really be that hard to first kill it, then prepare it. But it would make a world of difference for the squid.
