    2. the xxx represent kisses, and the kiss sound in Japanese is 'chu'. You might have noticed that 'Chu' rhymes with 'chewing'. So that's why chu-chu-chu-chewing love.

  4. Since this is japan. there is a 80% chance that all of the stage actors are male. Yes including the vocalist.
But what can we expect otherwise ;)

  7. In Japan if a male eats something relatively sweet they are considered homosexual. That's why there's bitter chocolate pocky.

  9. At first I wondered why there was an onion in a song about candy... then the onion started singing and it all made sense. WTF Japan? Seriously!

  10. the person in the mask got some skills and the onion reminded me of Chop Chop Master Onion from PaRappa The Rapper...well at least until it started getting really weird

  11. I wonder if being Japanese is the equivalent to taking a lot of LSD for the first time. I can't get my small western brain to comprehend wtf the Japanese are being inspired by? What the hell happens to them as children? Maybe it's just the residual radiation from WWII. Seriously, they can't be doing this on purpose.

    1. This has nothing to do with sanity. It's simply a taste in music. Some people like it, some people don't. I am personally of the former. If you are of the latter or have no opinion, KPP fans won't judge you because KPP's message is about spreading love. So if you really don't understand and have no intention of understanding or enjoying her music, then we will respect your opinion but please don't insult her or her music. Remember that KPP is not representative of all of Japan. Some Japanese don't like her music or style either, just like some people don't like Gaga.

  13. If the Japanese government is worried about the decay of the Japanese language (which they are) Shit like this is the big reason why.

  15. This used to be my favorite KPP song, but since she has so many good ones, it's hard to choose now.
