It seems like every day someone emails me another creepy Japanese robot. Well, today the robot has backup dancers.

ReplyDeletealso,
In before, people trying to look intelligent by using the words "uncanny valley"
Inb4 WTF
ReplyDeleteAll right, Japan. Since 99.9% of all your creepy robots are female (the remaining .1% gender indeterminate) I'm just going to go right out and ask why you haven't made robot sex slaves already?
ReplyDeleteBut I think I already know the answer to that question; Skynet is still trying to get the soul-sucking apparatus working before production can begin.
/\ We call it sex doll. Works basically the same thing a robot would.
ReplyDeleteThat's it, it's too late!
ReplyDeleteSCORCH THE SKIES!
No. Just no. I couldn't watch more than a minute of that. It made me want to throw up my own eyeballs.
ReplyDeleteI would guess its a gender issue. Since robots are subservient, and the typical Japanese male is not viewed as such.
ReplyDeleteHmmph... let's see what's creppier. Her oversized and stiff hands, her extremely wooden "dance", or her armor-plated legs exposed under her dress.
ReplyDeletePerhaps it's the idea that with the deadly combination of vocaloids and robot parts, you've got a media empire's wet dream of a pop star that never needs to be paid or complains about creative control. Blue-collar workers complain about robots replacing them. It will be a very terrifying day if Viacom or WMG started doing the same.
what the fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff....
ReplyDeleteall these dancing robots being made and none of them even do the robot...whats the point?
ReplyDeleteokay think the robot away and at least the yummy girls remain :)
ReplyDeletewhat modern technology makes......
ReplyDeleteThe robots in the back are MUCH better dancers.
ReplyDeleteOh Japan, you will subtly kill and replace all Americans yet.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, can she do politics?
ReplyDeleteAnybody notice the female robots actually a man. The size of the hands never lie
ReplyDeleteI wonder how much you get paid to be a backup dancer for a robot...
ReplyDeleteIt's very strange playing this on mute while my parents are playing Carrie Underwood.
ReplyDeleteme likes sexy japanese legs 8D
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, I now feel happier.
ReplyDeleteAlso, it reminds me of a Gelfling from The Dark Crystal.
