I was about to say I can see why a cube watermelon would be preferable to a spherical one, but then they put them in boxes and released redundant questions in my head...And as for those cucumbers, well that's one way to get kids to eat their vegetables.
they are boxing them and shipping them as gifts
Am I the only one who finds this insanely adorable? Heart/star shaped cucumbers! om nom nom ^^
You should see the pyramid shaped watermelons they have over there too.... maybe there's a video of those somewhere... and the heart and star cucumbers are too cute!
Disney has been doing this for years. Then again, pumpkins and watermelons shaped like mickeys head are kind of weird...
Japan has been doing it for years too. This isn't a recent thing..
id hate to see what they do with meat
However, those square watermelons are extremely expensive. Convert it to US dollars and it's just under $500 for 1.
genetically modifying food is one thingbut that guy chopping the heart cucumber has no idea on how to USE that knife properly,, i doubt he has any fingers by now :D
BUT why did they decide to name them HEART STICK?
I thought they just grew them in shaped containers?
Oh. My. God. <3!
and they have cube watermelons in indonesia :)
Science hasn't done a darn thing, they're grown in square containers. ]:<They tried the same thing with trees but it wasn't cost effective to keep changing the shell over the years the tree grew.
