  1. So I just got back from Okinawa (island to the south of mainland, still enough Japanese influence to make you go 'wtf'). I must say every kfc had a col. sanders, and there where a lot of kfcs. I'm pretty sure japan is the leading consumer of col sanders statues. Like they have some huge col sanders statue factory for this express purpose or something.

  6. KFC is really popular in japan. They just call it "kentucky"

    and this isn't being racist at all. Wearing a ukata and eating watermelon is a traditional summer thing and it's usually done during "matsuris" because there are watermelon-splitting contests

  8. At least in China during summer they eat watermelon like fuck. Suppose it's a familiar tradition in Japan as well.

  9. kfc (like pizza hut's mayo pizza ad) is owned by the yum! corp. they have a&w, long johns, taco bell and those 2. so thank you japan for buying our favorite late night fast food joints!
