People have a lot more imagination in japan, if the same experiment was used anywhere else, I wonder how many people would just stare and feel awkward lol
Sounds like this is only in Osaka though, which sort of makes sense. If Japan is more fun than other places, and Osaka is considered the fun part of Japan, there must be a shit ton of fun to be had there.
I wonder how far this extends, I wonder how diverse/complicated the weapons can be and still get a reaction out of people. What would happen if you threw an imaginary grenade or shot an imaginary rocket launcher?
They only show the people that react favorably to the experiment. I'm sure that if you pulled this on 100 people in any region you would have enough favorable reactions to put together a YouTube video.
I'd even go as far as accepting that it was rigged (that they talked to the people before rolling camera), but it's still helluva fun skit to do. The guy just dropping fully dead really made the video for me.
Also, I've always wondered if they where watching Spaced when thinking of this experiment.
I would love to see what would happen in different cities around the US if they went around doing that. They would probably have their asses whupped in more than a few of those cities lol
